This is an inaugural collaboration between Eu Yan Sang Academy and Bukit Panjang Government High School to offer TCM as an ALP subject for Biology. More than 120 Secondary 2 Express Students are introduced to this complementary medicine with basic concepts of TCM, knowledge of a variety of Chinese herbs, as well as hands-on brewing of simple recipes for the management of common illnesses such as cough, hypertension, eye conditions and blood deficiency. This enables them to better appreciate the science of TCM and their application to common ailments.
